Фильмы 65 стран мира претендуют на участие в раздаче "Оскаров"

Фильмы из 65 стран мира рассматривают американские киноакадемики в качестве возможных оскаровских номинантов. В список стран впервые попали Эфиопия и Гренландия, сообщает The Hollywood Reporter.

Среди прочих претендентов издание выделяет фильм "Incendies" канадского режиссера Дени Вильнёва, который был отмечен на недавно прошедшем кинофестивале в Торонто, и работу тайского режиссера Апичатпонга Вирасетакуна "Дядюшка Бунме, который помнит свои прошлые жизни", получившую Золотую пальмовую ветвь 63-го Каннского кинофестиваля.

Претендент от России был назван еще в сентябре этого года, им стал фильм Алексея Учителя "Край". "Край" - история о бывшем машинисте, который, вернувшись с фронта, оказывается в глухом сибирском поселке под названием Край, где живут ссыльные, "враги народа". Это еще не лагерь, но и выбраться отсюда непросто. В этой глухомани герой Машкова, Игнат, встречает бывшую гувернантку Софью, работавшую у немцев в Потсдаме, а потом обнаруживает в лесу брошенный паровоз, где прячется немка Эльза. Она всю войну провела в тайге и понятия не имеет, за что местные жители так ненавидят немцев. В фильме снялись Владимир Машков, Сергей Гармаш, Юлия Пересильд, Аньорка Штрехель и другие.
